Welcome to our project information page for the updated proposals for Lever House

Cube Real Estate is excited to bring forward updated proposals for Lever House. These new plans build on the existing consent and complete the Surrey House Island site which includes the Eden Campus, delivering on-site affordable homes alongside co-living studios that meet a local need.

Our updated proposals deliver:

  • Much needed homes including affordable housing on a brownfield, sustainable site, consisting of:
    • 272 high-quality co-living homes
    • Affordable housing that complies with policy, including family sized homes.
  • Publicly accessible co-working space and café at ground level 
  • Extensive resident amenity space
  • New and improved public realm
  • Naturalisation of the nearby Hogsmill River

About the team

Cube Real Estate is excited to bring forward updated proposals for Lever House with a well-rounded team to assist. Having managed the design of the adjacent Eden Campus, we are working again with Darling Associates, who have improved on the existing planning permission to create a project that works better for Kingston.

Consultation

We launched our community consultation on 12th February with a drop-in event at Everyday Church. The event was attended by 42 people, however there was a delay in the materials arriving for the start of the event and we want to apologise for any inconvenience caused. All relevant information is now available on this website.

In addition, we held a consultation webinar on 24th February, which was recorded and is also now available below. Our community consultation is now closed. We would like to thank all of those who have provided feedback on our proposals.

The project team will now review all feedback shared before submitting a planning application to Kingston Council.

Webinar – Tuesday 24th February

This event was hosted for an hour on Teams on Tuesday 24th February. We were pleased to see almost 30 local residents in attendance and have included the full recording of the session below.
